It’s widely understood that the right kind of exercise, taken in the right way, boosts the immune system and provides the circulation and energy levels needed to enjoy your pregnancy more fully and prepare better for labour. It is best to wait till you have had your 12 week check before you begin and have been cleared by your GP.
What to expect?
With a focus on core stability, strength and overall fitness, our prenatel classes are an excellent way to help your body cope with the changes you’re undergoing, and prepare it for the stresses to come. We work on keeping flexible, supple and toned during your pregnancy. The exercises can be modified for different stages of pregnancy.
What to wear?
Comfort is key, while the exercises are modified make sure your clothes give enough room to let you move and stretch freely. Your instructor will need to be able to see your body well enough to see the alignment of your bones and how your muscles are engaging.
